Curious & Humbly-Confident
Here's the (slightly) longer version of my story...
Growing up in a small rural town as an only child, my parents taught me the importance of "figure it out". Whether it was getting lost in the woods or building a skate ramp from scrap wood - trial and error was the name of the game.
I graduated high school a sub-par student, and decided to enter the workforce instead of going to University. Out of high school, I started working at Apple Inc. and would spend the next 5 years getting some of the best education I could have asked for.
After Apple, I chose to start my own product development company with a buddy of mine, which took us and our team on some wild and rocky rides. After 3ish years of bootstrapping our operations, and many failures and successes - we sold the business, having learned invaluable lessons.
Since then, I've had the opportunity to work with some incredible teams, and build products that are used by thousands of businesses and their employees each day. Each product, whether it was building an Applicant Tracking System for a large consulting firm, redefining the digital learning experience for a world leader in Sales Training, or providing a comprehensive mental health service to hundreds of global employers, the thread that ties my experiences together is my love for behavioral science and helping people create better habits to live a more enriching life.
On a personal level, I live in Philadelphia, PA with my partner Rachel, our dog Susan, and our son Brooks! In the times when I'm not working on products, I'm playing guitar, doing house projects or building things, gardening, or exploring new restaurants.
